The art of
noticing.
Some of our best ideas begin with a small observation. A pattern in the ordinary. A connection we almost missed.
A quieter way to capture
The quote. The image. The thought you just had.
Capture it all in one place, without leaving what you’re doing.
Coming to macOS & Windows
“Attention is the beginning of discovery.”
You remember a moment through what you see, what you hear, and the words that stay with you. Cappy brings that same experience to your computer: images, audio, and text gathered together, without switching away to take notes.
Save a quote, paste a passage, or type a thought. Keep the words that started something.
Text, in contextCapture a region or your screen. Hold on to the diagram, the design, the detail worth another look.
Images, with a place in the storyTalk through what you’re seeing. Capture your voice and computer audio as separate sources.
Audio, from both sidesYou shouldn’t have to learn a script to capture an idea. Cappy’s Voice Actions are designed to understand natural requests—and improve their fit with your feedback.
01 Speak, capture, correct.
02 Let everyday feedback become examples.
03 Compare a new profile. You decide to apply it.
Learning with you in control. Changes require your approval and can be reverted.
Voice Actions are experimental, starting with English in supported Windows apps. Calibration is user-initiated; improvement varies.
Cappy captures. You decide what comes next. Local Markdown and original files work with Obsidian, other editors, and the tools you haven’t discovered yet.
Point an AI agent like Codex or Claude Code at the Moments you choose to share. Ask what you learned, retrace a decision, or find the idea you almost forgot.
Your files stay local. AI processing uses your configured providers; optional Voice Actions send speech while you capture. You choose which files to share with downstream tools.
We’re building Cappy for curious minds.
